The W Shade & Co was born as a natural extension of The W Home an evolution shaped by both heritage and intention. Growing up in the window covering industry, Danielle was immersed in the world of custom treatments from an early age through her family’s manufacturing business, where craftsmanship, construction, and design were a part of everyday life. With a father who holds the patent for the first micro mini blind, window coverings have long been more than a finishing detail they are part of her foundation.

When The W Home was established in 2020, offering soft window treatments felt like an essential part of the design process, allowing each space to be completed with the same level of thoughtfulness and cohesion as the interiors themselves. In 2025, that vision expanded with the opening of The W Shade & Co boutique showroom in Tomball a destination where design, drapery, shades, and curated interiors come together under one roof.
